Transforming the Future of Healthcare: Understanding HIVE – Health in a Virtual Environment

 Learn about the research taking place in East Metropolitan Health Service’s HIVE. HIVE is Western Australia’s first inpatient remote monitoring service. This innovative service dramatically transforms how we care for our patients. The service is enabled by an artificial intelligence platform that detects the earliest signs of clinical deterioration. When an alert is generated, HIVE clinicians use a two-way audio-visual system to collaborate with staff on the ward, offering “a second set of eyes” to deliver consistently amazing care.
